In the past six months the Ethiopian government gave investment permit for eight billion dollars investment. Most of these investments are made on the sectors of farm, construction, hotel and tourism. Those investors have planned to open around 1500 projects in the country and provide employment opportunity for more than eight hundred thirty six thousand employees.
According to the yearly report of the Ethiopian Investment Agency (EIA) investors are participating in the investment sector of Real state, Education, Health, Manufacturing, Power supply and other investment areas. Most of the Investors are willing to invest on the areas of Telecommunication, Bank and insurance.
The Ethiopian Investment Agency (EIA) states that this year the total invested capital is three billion USD. Investors who came from Europe, Asia, USA, Africa and the Middle East …etc confirm that the investment in Ethiopian is a successful one and there are ample alternatives of investment directions.
